Fun Holiday weekend!

We had a great weekend full of holiday fun! Friday night Jackson and I went to a nice dinner out and attended "The Christmas Story" play downtown by the SCCT. Saturday I got up bright and early for breakfast with Katherine and Natalie and then we headed to the outlets for some Christmas shopping. I spent most of my time and money in the Pottery Barn outlet, and got lots of nursery items! The baby's room with be a light baby blue with black furniture and the bedding is hot pink and white (it is called Callie) and we got a sea mobile with hot pink, blue, green, baby pink, and orange. I am going to do a theme of the sea, mostly mermaids! I also found a great rug with all those colors with a fun abstract flower look. The green glider we have will look great and all I need now is to get a fabric from Tony's that coordinates and get curtains and the skirt made. So, if you see cute fabric, even in a sea theme, with those colors let me know. I might just get a polka dot or paisley that has the colors. The bedding is stiched in hot pink and it has a criss cross pattern. I got a toddler quilt, 2 pillows, 2 sheets, and the bumper at 60% off the outlet price and I think it is so cute! Be on the lookout for sea stuffed animals that look girlie.

Then Saturday night we all went to a friend's annual Christmas BBQ and had fun with our church friends. Sunday, I headed to my parents to help cook and prepare for their Holiday party open house, and then Jackson and McKinley joined us after church for the festivities. We had tons of food, and many of my parents friends came to socialize. I had a few friends there too. I enjoyed seeing our friends from the beach and all the kids had a blast playing with their new Christmas toys we exchanged. Hope your weekends heading to the big day are full of fun, and closeness with friends and family!
