Strawberry Shortcake

We had the best time this past Saturday at Lucy's party!  We did a strawberry shortcake theme, partly because Lucy loves her movies, but also because I think they look a little alike. :-)  We had berry cupcakes, berry oreos, strawberry shortcake for the parents, pink lemonade, berry wafer cookies, berry newtons, pink and green candy, berry bon bons, and pink marshmellows, talk about sugar rush!  I enjoyed planning the party as always, and Lucy enjoyed playing with her friends on the playground, riding toys, and having a ball!  Here is a slideshow of the decorations!  I got most of the SSC items and favor goodies at Party City, I got the red favor bags at Target, I got the SSC coloring books at Dollar Tree, I made the pom poms from the Martha Stewart website, I got the strawberry cupcakes at Bi-Lo (great deal!), and I got the 2 dozen cupcake holder at Marshalls!  The SCC tags were from the pre-made confetti bags from Party City, then I used a 2" circle cutter for the cardstock backing!

We were glad to have so many friends join us to play!  Happy Birthday Baby Girl!
