McKinley will be sad soccer is ending, but honestly, Tues. nights are the most hectic of the week, so I won’t miss it too much. :-) The snacks were on us tonight, so I made these cute containers with cheese crackers, teddy grahams, Halloween oreos, M&Ms, and string cheese on top. Oh and don’t forget the box juice. It is a little more snacks than the kids need at 7:00, so I bet the parents won’t be too thrilled when I hand them the snack overload, but I put them in snap target gladware containers so it should last a few days (ya right!) If you are interested in starting soccer, it is inexpensive, and easy to begin at their age since it is not competitive. We go through the YMCA and it is only $50 for the 2 months of practice and games, and the jersey and shorts. I even enjoyed picking out the cute soccer shoes and pink shin guards like most girlie moms! All I need now is a minivan to be a true soccer mom! (*If you have not seen the swagger wagon Toyota Sienna video, you need to look it up on Youtube, it is hilarious!) I wish McKinley’s soccer picture was digital so I could show you how funny it looks. McKinley is actually frowning and looking pitiful since we had to interrupt game time to take pictures of the team and teammates. Regardless, I will look back on the frowny face and remember her first soccer game and watching her run after that ball in the pack of 4 year olds, and smile.
Our little cheerleader!
McKinley is #1
Here is Allie throwing in the ball! Goooo Allie!
Towards the end of the game, McKinley wants to play on the playground and stop playing soccer...
