| We had nothing but church on Sunday, so we came up with around the house activities to entertain. First we watched Wizard of Oz and made muffins (and worked on the BBQ from prior post.) Then Jackson took McKinley on a bug hunt in the backyard while me and Lucy watched and played on the driveway. Lucy tried to eat a few acorns, she didn’t like them too much. McKinley hunted down a centipede, spider, ant, and a huge grasshopper. She loved lifting the rocks, and searching through the leaves. I am just glad no snakes were found b/c I remember finding a snake skin when I was little in the creek around where they were hunting. I went on my own bug hunt and found a dead cockroach in our sunroom...lovely. |
