Jackson had 2 full weeks off at the end of the year so he enjoyed a night away with some friends camping at Jones Gap. They hiked from Pretty Place to Jones Gap and they made a rope swing, campfire, you know all that guy stuff that happens on a camping outing. The funniest story when he returned was that Lance locked his keys in his car on top of the mountain, in the middle of nowhere, and had to go to the Rangers office to get a wedge to break into his car! When Jackson got back he HAD to run to Dick's to buy the most expensive hiking backpack they had for his next trip---don't see that happening too soon with one on the way!
