Oscar Night 2011

For over 5 years now I have been involved with the Oscar Night America Gala fundraiser with the JLG and this is the first year I have been able to enjoy the party and not work it--Whoohoo!  Jackson and I enjoyed the night with drinks (chocolate martinis-8 points each by the way!) and lots of appetizers, great bidding items in the auction, and a fun band!  The party was at Zen, a new and exciting venue that has not been used before to host the party.  I do wish the Oscars were on a Saturday night, I would have enjoyed it a little more then. :-)  We even got a cute photobooth picture that I will stick in a family album to find years to come.  Those pictures are so cute to look back on!  It was great to visit with friends, esp. the JLG girls that I never get to see anymore.  After losing our bids, and eating too much, we went home at 10:00 to enjoy the remainder of the show in our PJs.
