I went to the biggest consignment sale I had every been to yesterday after work. It is called Switch-a-roos and let me tell you I have never been so stressed shopping! I can say that I got great things for cheap prices, but it was a workout-esp. since I was wearing high heels! I lined up with all the other moms in Greenville at 5:00 when the doors opened for a sneak peak, a perk you get when you volunteer for 4 hours during the weekend sale. I felt all the pushy moms around me, and I knew I was one of them too! We all barge in and I went straight to the clothes. Next time I will go first to the furniture and big toys b/c they went fast! One girl got a little tikes tool bench with all the accessories for $10! Another got a nursery glider that was prescious and pink with the ottoman for $25! If you need anything baby, this is the place to go. I saw about 10 of the same expensive must have items that I paid full price for. Bumbos, Boppys, rockers, swings, strollers, pack n plays, play gyms, and tons of toys were are there! I tried to find a good high chair that can be wiped down for the next babe in the clan, but couldn't find one I wanted. I left around 8:00 and went home and realized that I bought too much stuff! I got around 20 new play outfits for school, jackets and coats for fall/winter, and 4 DVDs for the car for $150. Next time I will be more selective, and I will look for more big tickets items than clothes. I plan to consign lots of stuff next year so I can let you know all about that adventure when it gets here.
