It is day 3 on our long weekend in Isle of Palms, and today we thought we would take a breather and do the pool in the morning. We started at the Boardwalk Inn pool, complete with servers, cabanas, umbrellas, and orange flavored water served at the entrance, fancy! After an hour of hanging out there, I text Kristy and her family and they were at the pool next to us, the one with the bar, grill, and off the beach, so we joined them for a while and let the kids play. I enjoyed a pina colada, not counting my points for a few days I might add, and then headed home for lunch and naps.
The girls got these cute shirts for Christmas from Aunt Alice, and we wore them for swimsuit cover-ups!
We joined more friends for the afternoon on the beach, and relaxed with a bourbon slushy and watched the kids make a big beach pool to play in. I can sure get the hang of this!
For dinner on Sunday, we had the whole gang out to Station 22 on Sullivan's Island! It was the best! It is across from Poe's which is a well known bar and grill, and not far from Mt. Pleasant. They had the best crab cakes and coconut cake I have ever had! I would really recommend going there for dinner if you are in the area, and we did made a reservation so we got right in! Overall, we enjoyed our 3 nights of seafood!
